The massive line-up on the Jim Beam Rock stage in the TSB Bank Arena will make for a pretty epic day from start to finish.

There is also an outdoor bar, chill-out and smoking area so you don't have to leave the security area if you want some fresh air.

Full Line up announcement

Shihad
Shihad will storm the Homegrown stage with soaring melodies and churning riffs that have made them one of the most ferocious live units in NZ. Everyone knows at least a couple Shihad tracks and with a back catalogue spanning 22 years expect classic rock material. They're up for 'Best Group' 2012 NZ - Music Awards. We totally agree!
Blacklist (the boys from Blindspott)
After a hard hitting performance at Homegrown 2011 to a massive crowd, the newly named Blacklist's recent single "From the Blind Spot' has been getting loads of airplay. The boys will be back ripping it up on the Rock stage and with tracks from two platinum No. 1 albums their set is guaranteed to be well in demand.
The Feelers
There is a reason we keep inviting the Feelers back to the festival; multiple No.1 hits and 5 platinum studio albums filled with classic tracks that resonate in the memories of Kiwi’s of all ages. Songs like “Supersystem” and “Venus” are sing-a-long favorites and sure crowd pleasers. We can’t wait to see them again at Homegrown 2012!
Opshop
Originally hailing from Christchurch, this now Auckland based band has become one of New Zealands best-loved acts. We all know the lyrics to at least one Opshop song. With a raft of finely crafted hit singles and two multi platinum selling albums, Opshop are a true homegrown talent not to be missed.
The Checks
The Checks have been turning heads and heralding massive acclaim since the tender age of 16. Fostering their musical talents from Auckland's Takapuna Grammer School these lads have travelled the world and supported bands such as Muse, Oasis, AC/DC and The Hives with their blues-driven and high-energy rock.

Black River Drive
Combining blistering guitar riffs coupled with strong, melodic songwriting and lyrics that pull no punches, Black River Drive is the sound of razorwire rock. Drawing influence from Queens of the Stone Age, AC/DC and Nine Inch Nails, they look set to carve their niche at the forefront of NZ rock.  We're stoked to have them back at Homegrown.

Shotgun Alley
Shotgun Alley is a modern day throwback to the seminal days of rock and roll on the Sunset Strip in the 80's and 90's - part glam, part rock, part kick you in the teeth with a round of shots to follow. They have played the infamous Viper Room and you should definitely check them out if you like old skool rock n roll with a new twist.
The Thomas Oliver Band
These guys have a completely unique and unrivalled sound in NZ Rock, a culmination of Blues, Alt-Country and Roots music. The fresh instrumentation of the 5-piece, including lap-slide guitar, double bass and baratone sax give a distinctive sound. In demand to tour with big names, you can check them out in the afternoon on the Rock stage.

                                                                Individual Stage Capacity

Each stage has a limited capacity and during the day access is on a
first come first serve basis.

Tickets to Jim Beam Homegrown are strictly limited and we're keeping numbers down to try and make sure everybody can see the bands they want to see, but if you've got a favourite band it can't hurt to get there a little early just in case.

Thanks to Jim Beam you'll also be able to enjoy a cold Beam from the best seats in the house.
